I use DJI drone, which I take to my travels to other countries and nature places. For me limiting flying to specifically designated areas is a kill for my hobby. I film beautiful views, not doing flight sport or FPV competitions. When abroad I don’t always purchase data plan, because at hotel I have WiFi

A decent chunk of my life has been shaped by the RC Hobby. I got hooked young and it ended up steering me towards Engineering. In summers between College semesters I interned with Horizon Hobby which gave me many insights into industry, product development, electronics, mechanical design etc. Then while at college I met one

I fly sailplanes which do not have the room to place anything more in the fuse. A lot of these have carbon fuses so any signal might have a hard time being transmitted. I also fly old timers which is also a form of soaring. With much of these rules soaring would not be possible.

RC flying is my Sunday hobby. I live in a remote area and have no designated flying fields or club for support. I am currently able to fly my aircraft at local school yards and parks. New regulations could make it difficult or impossible for me to continue flying due to the lack of resources

I’m an A&P prior military aviation. It’s my life and a great hobby

I have been flying model for over 25 years and have never seen a safety issue, this does not make sense and will not stop any unlawful act as they will not be complying to rules to begin with. Therefore it is a burden that should not be put on law abiding citizens. The proposal

Flying small remotely operated SUAV and airplanes is a great hobby for young and old, with a proven track record of safety. The reaction of the FAA seems to be for extremely invasive regulation of an essentially harmless community of hobbyists in reaction to a very, very, small number of bad actors. I would recommend
