If it wasn’t for the FPV community starting that passion back up in me, I would not be going back to school for my AnP.

Flight is a release from the stress of work. More regulations and restrictions should be unnecessary. New rules won’t affect those who don’t follow the rules anyway.
Nearly all of my remote controlled aircraft are scratch or kit built. I have 30 or more aircraft ranging from cheap 30 dollar foam builds to thousand plus dollar balsa and nitro models. I live in a rual area hours away from any AMA field. This measure would render literally thousands of dollars in personal

I started getting into flying FPV multi-rotors in 2015, and it’s been a fantastic way to get me out of the house and socializing with people outside of work or family. I can take nature photos
I am 15 years old and have been flying FPV since early 2018. FPV as a hobby has taught me about electronics, troubleshooting, and science. I have met lots of friends through FPV that I wouldn’t have met otherwise. With Remote ID, nearly all of my quadcopters would become obsolete. I am an AMA Youth
I discovered RC flying as a teen in the late 70’s. The best part about the hobby was that it gave me a purpose to my education. It provided a visual and tactile example of the math and science I was learning. Today I think this is still a completely valid point and perhaps the

I fly fpv freestyle and long range. This hobby is a way to do some extreme things that we wouldn’t normally be able to do due to physical limitations or professions that require us to be in peak, uninjured physical shape. It is THE safest form of adrenaline inducing, awe inspiring activity on the planet
