The only time a drone should be impacted is when it flies over the height restriction or in a restricted area. All others would be considered recreational flight. All must abide by current restrictions. People safety should always be first concern. I never fly over height or in restricted areas so why cost me money

We do not need or want government supervision in our hobby. The growth of the “big brother” attitude in government is out of control, and the addition of regulation is unnecessary. This is just another excuse for governments to tax, regulate and indeed spy on every aspect of our lives and should be quashed immediately.

I love the hobby it is my passion and i am scared that will be taken away. I am a responsible adult who flys for fun away from people whenever possible. the building creation and technology has me hooked. i say go only after those who abuse the hobby just like with any other thing.

Commercial drones are an entirely different situation from model airplane flying. As a retired airline captain (35 years), Navy pilot, and model airplane enthusiast, I am horrified by this needless intrusion by the FAA into this important recreational/educational hobby.
