“Flying a model aircraft is a joy that stretches all the way back to my childhood when my grandfather and I built little foam gliders. It’s hard to explain the feeling of building something and then seeing it fly. You made something that can fly. Building RC aircraft continues that joy. As a gift about a year ago my wife gave me a ready to fly plane (Horizon Hobby Sport Cub S) and before I had even gotten the box fully out of the bag my then five year old daughter was asking if she could fly it. I can’t think of anything better to demonstrate the joy of flying RC than a five year olds question, “Can I fly it?”.”
