Its supposed to be a fun and educational hobby to be enjoyed by all, not just the people who decide to follow all the rules and regulations. Rules and regs wont stop dumb people from doing dumb things! The only thing that will be accomplished is the death of a hobby i have SAFELY enjoyed

As a student, I always wanted to know how planes fly. Looking at equations is one way to understand it, but actually building a plane and troubleshooting why it’s not flying well gave me a way better insight than looking at equations on a piece of paper ever would. If all the planes had to
There is nothing in this world that gives you the same feeling of pure freedom that you experience when flying fpv with a quadcopter you spent hours building and saved up the money to purchase quality gear. There is not 1 single person in this entire world that has never thought to themselves” man, it

I fly for fun with the kids, I follow common sense rules and the rules in my area. Idiots will be idiots no matter what the regs are. These regs will destroy the sport for no good reason. Dont ruin the hobby for no good reason. How many deaths have there been from hobby drones?

My grandfather took me to the monthly aviation fly-in breakfast every moth as a kid. He was not a pilot but he knew I liked airplanes. I like to think he did too. Ever since I have been infatuated with airplanes both manned and unmanned. I have flow RC models for over 50 percent of

I’ve been flying FPV for a bit more than half a year now. I’ve learned to fly an aircraft via simulator first for months, then I started with tiny, light plastic quadrocopters (whoop) before I went to a larger size 3″, then 5″ which I now fly. This slow progression over many months happened because
