As a veteran who worked in the aviation field, flying allows me to keep what I learned and memories fresh in my mind. I have meet and trained alot of service members during my time in the service. Building and flying helps me remember some of the times I have had. The hobby also helps

flying remote control airplanes give us a chance to show youths and others a positive past time. Also we have some friends who use it for PSTD therapy. They teach the veterans how to fly therefore concentrating on one thing and being able to have a break from their disabilities for that flight time.
