It was my ability to build and create my own design through the hobby industry that spawned my career as an engineer. A similar situation occurred with my oldest son. If you regulate out the ability to create, you stifle creativity. I don’t understand why this is difficult to understand. My biggest concern is that

I have enjoyed flying models since I was a child. I have never seen an accident or anything else that would justify government regulation or intrusion into my hobby.

I am 15 years old, and have been flying model airplanes for well over a year now. I had originally learned to fly myself, and had gained experience from there. I hope to use the knowledge and experiences I’ve had so far to further the development of my life and accomplish my goals of becoming

As an active duty member in the Air Force , I rely on FPV and mini quads to help me with the stress and mental health issues I have from being active duty. Other stress relief activities don’t work as well anymore, and in some cases makes me worse with additional problems. FPV allows me

I just bought a DGI Mavic Mini . I’m planning on using it to film my RC Boats and RC Car when I run them. No the Gov. is planing on changing the rules so that I may not be able to fly my drone without heavy upgrades to it or total replacement .

Its peaceful and relaxing such as flying a kite, sailing a boat or scuba diving. Control of the FAA and the AMA is totally ridiculous for such a non invasive sport. Keep on flying my 2 oz. gliders with or without the regulations. Take more taxes from Me so that the FAA can pay to

Flying matters to me because it has been something to challenge myself to learn about different and new types of technologies that pertain to the hobby. Just being involved in FPV flying has greatly increased by knowledge concerning radio signals, computer programming, GPS systems, and electronics in general.

You are doing exactly what government does – routinely. you are completely ignoring the unintended consequences of your proposals. You will not stop one single terrorist action if all of your regulations in fact pass. However you will gravely impact a hobby which has been responsible for the nurturing,, and initial education of many great

Your new rules doesn’t really impact on me, living in Finland. I just happen to be very worried about these upcoming new laws against drones and other RC’s in the US. The people who build their own drones and RC’s from scratch should be freed from these new regulations. It will be killing the hobby

I have been flying for 5 year never have I ever endangered someone. I build my drone and fly them in confidence that nobody is at risk of their safety, because I built it and man it. I just started up a drone repair business called QwadProp and this hinders my business and causes a
