I am very anxious in general and when I am flying with my fpv I chill and stress out! This moment is magical for me I forget all problems and I wish to continue to do that free of charge and without all that control on my head!

I am a certified private pilot and commercial remote pilot but like many, had my start in radio control planes. Designing and building homemade model planes and multicopters has been a dear hobby for at least the past 20 years. ( I took a break after high school for military and college.) Friends and I

I fly quadcopters only for recreational use, i build them myself, test and tune them myself, and makes sure everything is working My concern is that the new FAA regulation would halter the hobby development, both because the hobby should be aviable in all price classes, flight hobbies are allready quite pricy, and complex, a

I just feel like if the gov sells the airspace to big business, the skys will become an eyesore and a nuisance. Nobody in my neighborhood cares if i fly from my backyard.. i bet there gonna care if random delivery drones are buzzing over there property

I’ve been flying RC models (aircraft & Quads/UAVs) for 56 YEARS (going back to TUBE transmitters!). Actual RC aircraft damage to property is VERY limited. Since the year 2000, there have been THOUSANDS of BIRD STRIKES which have damaged/downed private/commercial aircraft. In that same time period, little or no damage has been done by RC

This hobby has taught me so much. Electronics, physical builds, problem solving, rf shielding, 3d drawing and design, video editing not to mention the actual flying. Find another hobby that develops all those skills at once and all leaves you with a sense of fulfillment and a smile on your dial. Flying is my release

These new rules would destroy an entire industry if Implemented. The organizations lobbying heavily for these rules/regulations are going to be a greater threat to the safety of humans and wildlife than hobbyists.
I started in the RC hobby as a child (8 years old). This fascination with RC was my outlet for my learning disability. Building, flying and driving these toys in this hobby got me interested in the STEM field. I thought I was stupid and unable to learn but the confidence my hobby gave me

Its the way I can still have current interests with my son. We mostly fly every Saturday and it is a great bonding and learning experience that I dont know how I would replace
I have been flying model aircraft for almost 20 years now and I am still learning. Most flights with hobbist exist well under 400 ft. Far away from people or equipment. The only flights that would affect manned aircraft are flights over 400 ft. We do not do that, even with dji automous drones. Let

We like to experiment. Push the boundaries of open source and lightweight aircraft. We like to build new aircraft. Most of our aircraft would be grounded if not all. Also, some of my aircraft are 200 grams. How much does remote ID weigh? even 10g is too much. How does that work? Much of my
