Flying model airplanes is relaxing and fun. I usually fly with other club members. We swap ideas, building techniques and flying suggestions. Sometimes we trade aircraft. We fly twice a week (Wednesday mornings and Thursday evenings) April thru October when the weather is good. Our club is small 15/20 members. We cook out on Thursday

I am an immigrant and have lived in the USA for 50 years. I am an aerospace engineer trained and educated in England. If it wasn’t for aeromodelling that got me into the RAF and then into deHavilland Aircraft Company for my apprenticeship I wouldn’t be here today. My son is an airline pilot who

Flying, models or full scale, is the thing that has always motivated me. In high school it is why grades mattered. To buy flight time, not a car, was why I got and held a job since the age of 13. Flying is why I did 21 years in the USAF and now teach Aerospace
I started flying air plane models 10 years ago with a friend. since the FAA started putting more rules out , my friend quit flying and I do not get out that often because its not as much fun by my self.
