I have been building and flying models for better than 60 years, starting with free flight, then control line, and finally, r/c without all of these regs. I see no reason to make our hobby more expensive and restricted than it already is. Restrict the commercial people if you want, but leave us hobbyists alone!

It matters to my group of students because, it bring dads, daughters, and son, and grandparents to something they did when they were younger. Teaching opportunities about drones and planes and safety is always my priority. It’s all about the science and history of aviation. So much more!!

I am a commercial airline pilot as well as a certificated A&P. My interest in aviation would not have happened, if it were not for model aviation. Model aviation gives me the freedom to innovate, build, and promote aviation.

Keeps brain active.

I am disabled and flying is a hobby i love and can afford, and keep in shape at feild, I fly year round, have been flying for 3 years, have about 6 airplanes all electric, obay all ama rules, the gps drone that can fly for miles is the problem, not our airplanes that might

I grew up building and flying RC planes with my father, and have continued the hobby for 40+ years. What this has taught me is that the RC aviation hobby is a truly unique family experience that teaches young people that if they can master the skills to build and fly model airplanes then they
