“I am both a recreational RC pilot and Part 107 certified. Flying remote controlled aircraft is something close to my heart as I’ve been enjoying the hobby for over 40 years. From when I was young I always had a fascination with flying craft and the RC hobby was instrumental in shaping me as I grew up. Not only do I continue to fly recreationally, I now am trying to start a new career in a field which relies solely on sUAS technology. I already have a substantial amount of personal resources invested in this, and I’m concerned that this proposed rulemaking effort will not only make it virtually impossible for us to continue to fly recreationally, but it will also make it financially impossible to succeed in my startup business venture.”
