It matters for all of the reasons you have stated in your videos. But mostly, it matters to me because it brings my 12 year old son and I closer together.

I have been involved in building and flying model aircraft for 40 years. I still fly multiple balsa planes that I built in the 1980s as a teenager. I also have a DJI drone; and nearly everyting in-between. Building planes (and flying them) with my Dad when I was young were some of the best

Flying FPV has helped me experience flight as I’ve always wanted to in a safe and affordable way. Sharing this experience and discovery with my children has been a great way to teach them life skills and determination. All of the aircraft that we fly do not have GPS or automated flight systems. I’m 69 years old, mother of 3 boys now men. I first started building and flying model airplanes when I was around 10 in the early sixties. That lasted through high school when I began flying full size aircraft which I did until I got married to someone who was scared to fly. LOL! I

I think my story begins when I was four years old. I was born into an Air Force family and my earliest memories include watching aircraft operations on Elmendorf AFB through my bedroom window. I still remember a trip my Dad’s squadron took to Kodiak (he was a piano player in the Air Force band)

I have flown since I was old enough to hold a radio. Since my dad passed, flying has been how I remember him. I have never done anything that would endanger others. I would never dream of flying into occupied airspace. All I want to do, is be able to continue to enjoy my hobby.
