“I have always loved flying ever since I was young, and at one time I wanted to get my Private Pilot’s licence, but own an “real” aircraft was always beyond my means financially, so I bought RC models instead. If the burden to fly RC legally becomes too expensive it will not only squeeze me out of the hobby, but also my children who also love aircraft and and flying. My biggest fear with these new regulations is that a whole generation of our kids will not be able to get into aviation because of the expense and complications they will add. I have a 3 year old that loves airplanes and rockets and I would hate for her to get deprived of this hobby because of short sighted regulations. We don’t know where our next Chuck Yeager, Charles Lindbergh, and Amelia Earhart is going to come from, and I do not want this to be the generation where we stifle Aerospace innovation.”
