“I’ve always loved flight of all kinds. Built model aircraft as a kid with my father. I have been in and out of the hobby, as time and interest, allows for 50 years. As I near retirement age, I look forward to getting more heavily involved. Now the FAA wants to add to the complexity and cost of flying. Tossing a foam glider off the top of a hill has always been one of the best ways to spend an afternoon. Now the airspace is being promised to the highest bidder for commercial purposes. I hope the FAA will leave the recreational hobbyist alone and let us have our harmless, relaxing fun.”
