“For many generations this has been hobby to bring families and like minded people together in a wholesome, safe environment to experience the many aspects of the simple joy of flight. This has been done safely for decades, with the only new variable being a group of people that want control the airspace we have been using, for commercial gain. Now all of a sudden it is a “safety issue”. The loss of a great hobby, and generations of tradition, a great pathway to STEM for our youth, just to make room for dangerous, heavy and powerful commercial drones is not the way forward.”
