“I fly mainly tiny drones and planes. I only own a single plane over 250g, and the rest of my fleet are micro drones (FPV) and mighty mini fliers.
I am most fearful for expansions of regulations into the sub-250g space. As of right now, I don’t need to register my sub-250g aircraft and I can freely fly them where I like, when I like, with my kids and whatnot. I fear that after NPRM is implemented, they may find the need to tighten down and add such systems to sub-250g aircraft and make it impossible for me to enjoy outdoor flight. These aircraft do not have the space or the weight to include any complicated systems to provide remote ID.
I hope to one day share this hobby with my young children when the get a bit older. But I fear they will not be able to enjoy it when they come of age.”
