“I’m and engineer and have been flying for almost 40 years. It is a way to get my intellectual and technical aptitude fix and keep my mind working. There are so many aspects to this hobby that anyone can find something in it to like. It is very educational due to the number of areas of knowledge required such as electronics, radio transmission, programming, internal combustion engines, aerodynamics, adhesives, construction techniques, etc. It would be a big loss to my life if my ability to continue in this hobby were adversely affected.”
