“I started flying DJI drones because I enjoyed hiking in the mountains along with outdoor photography. Most places I fly in very remote areas in the mountains in the mid-Atlantic regions of West Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Remote ID in these areas would be a complete waste of time and effort. Then as time went old I got started in FPV. This part of the hobby requires a bit more knowledge of electronics and soldering. It is more then just flying but the time you put into assembling from different manufacturers and making it all work. And now its airplanes….see the trend here? It is an addiction .But a good addition! Please don’t destroy this hobby of mine and many others. It is more then a hobby. I get a lot of enjoyment when someone comes up and sees what I’m doing and gets interested in the hobby. Or when I’m hiking with my DJI drone and I see a pretty Vista that needs to be photograph. As you can see this encompasses many aspects and just isn’t limited to flying. Thank you for your consideration. Jeff Pope”
