“Flying is a hobby for me. I understand the risk of a runaway hobby craft and have ditched my craft before I would let it get away and out of my control. I only fly visual with my craft to stay aware of my surroundings. Most hobbyists make sure that they maintain control of their craft and do not impinge on people’s rights or endanger large aircraft. There, has not been a credible event that endangered an aircraft to date. I think the FAA is going overboard with scare tactics with no data where people have been endangered.”
