“I started out flying in high school when my dad got a horizon hobby champ and we both tried to learn to fly it. He tended to struggle, but I seemed to get the hang of it. I progressed to different models and quads as well as building my own airplanes and multi rotors from scratch. It became a way for my dad and to learn together and spend time together. We would make trips to go see flying events and became one of our strongest bonds. He has also gotten to flying more and has several of his own planes now.”
