“I’ve loved flying drones and home built small aircraft. Finding places to fly is challenging enough already – if it were more restricted, I might have to give up the hobby or only fly a few times a year when I can travel to approved areas. Given the dramatic expansion of the hobby in recent years, any program requiring a refit of older drones would be prohibitively complex and costly! The only thing worse than not having anywhere to fly is having to replace all my gear!”
