“Building and flying self build aircraft, for me combines knowledge and disciplines that I inherited from my family, more specifically from my father who passed away in 2015. The hobby keeps great memories alive and drives inspiration and creativity. I can only hope that I will be able to give to my son, who just turned 1 year and 8 months, similar memories that my father gave me. Through the hobby I’m also pushing myself into learning new things, new technologies and that is a massive boost for my daily job too. The community is probably the best part of the hobby and the friendships that come from it.”
