“My 10yr old son has been interested in planes and all things that fly since his first birthday. He has just started to get comfortable and confident building from scratch (with my help) and flying his own foam RC planes as well as off the shelf FPV quadcopters at our local parks. I am very concerned that these proposed regulatons and restrictions are going to severally limit his ability to truley explore and expand upon his interests. I do understand and think there is a need to reglate commercial UAV like delivery drones, etc… but there is a world of difference between a corporation like Amazon that wishes to deploy a fleet of unmanned aircraft that fly all around our cities and your average hobbiest that wishes to safely fly RC at local parks and other public spaces. I feel these regulations should be targeted at corporate entities and not recreational flyers.”
