“As a dad with a busy family time is limited. Smaller, simpler foam board style electric DIY model airplanes are what we have time for. $130, an afternoon or two (read the attention span of my children) to build and an off time at our local school field are all that is required for us to experience this hobby. For my kids to engage in something exciting and for me to sneak away on my own too. To do more is outside what we have time for. We would have to give it up.”
