“I have been actively flying since 1969, it is my most passionate hobby. I am sickened by the trouble FPV/beyond line of sight operations have caused for the general hobby of model aviation. I believe special interest groups such as commercial drone operators and irresponsible people using autonomous FPV equipment are the most dangerous to the airspace and if regulations are enacted they should be applied to only the segment that is actually posing the real risk factors. The additional cost and restrictions on the traditional line of sight models will have a devastating effect on the model aviation industry and the private individual hobbyists.”
