“Flying matters to me because I really like the idea of leaving the ground. It’s so cool to be controlling something that’s moving around up there. I also really enjoy building things and making what I make work better. I recently received an appointment to the US Coast Guard Academy. After graduating the Academy I would like to fly helicopters for the Coast Guard, and eventually become an aerospace engineer. Flying is important to me because it is what I’d like to base my life around.”
