“I have flown RC aircraft for over a decade and never once caused property damage or personal injury. These proposed regulations are an invasion of privacy, unnecessarily restrictive and financially punitive. If enacted as written, these regulations would destroy a hobby enjoyed by thousands of pilots of all ages. I live in an area where cellular and wifi coverage is spotty at best. I would be unable to fly except in heavily populated areas with good cellular coverage and internet access. The repeal of Special Rule 336 was a huge mistake and led to the kind of government overreach we are seeing in these proposed regulations.”
