“Flying, especially in line of sight, should be unrestricted. Most accidents that occur are on accident, something a Id will not correct. We are just getting into the hobby and the electronic upfront cost is higher than expected. I can only imagine what more hardware and a subscription would cost to not only the consumer, but the producer. Most producers would have to retrofit their current aircraft and the ones in development, causing major funding loss. The possible high cost, for these new systems, could lead more local hobby stores to be unable to cope and have to close up shop.”
