“In live in a rural area so I only get to fly in class g airspace over public land (blm, forest service). I teach at a junior college and prepare people for the FAA part 107 exam. I am part 107 certified and fly commercially for agencies contracted through the college (mostly commercial quad copter a though). I have picked up fixed wing flying and taught myself to build and fly and have enjoyed doing this with my kids over the last couple of years. My kids love the design and dream of flight. My students have gone on to start small drone based business in our rural and agricultural area that would be financially hampered by the proposed regulations. I live several hours from the nearest flying field and all of my commercial work takes place in remote areas where there is no cellphone service.”
