“I am a former Naval Aviator and Naval Flight Instructor. I did two tours flying A-6E Intruders from the Kitty Hawk and Nimitz around the time where the USS Stark was hit by an Iraqi Exocet missile and when we escorted tankers through the straights of Hormuz. I build and fly Quads to harken back to my youth and the flying times I miss and can’t afford to do in real life. I have met a great many people in person and online that freely give up their time and knowledge to help others enjoy this sport/ pastime. I spent over 11 years defending my country and don’t deserve to have small freedoms like being able to fly carefully and respectfully without undue Government regulations, taken away from me.”
