“RC flying is a natural companion to my woodworking interests as well as my engineering background. As I age it provides mental stimulation to keep me active as well as providing the rationale for getting together with friends on a regular basis. This good for my health and my spirits. Since we fly in an open field several miles from a small airport with no control tower surrounded by corn fields and within line of sight, it seems stupid to require remote ID and height restrictions in our location. I agree with more restrictions in those areas near active airports. I live on a lake and fly planes off the water. I have to fly when I am not endangering boats on the lake and also within line of site as required by AMA, so restrictions in this instance are not needed.”
