“RC flight is a major hobby in my life, most of my free time is spent building or flying, I also fly with extreme care and caution around people and objects. More rules on the rule followers is not the answer, education and reasonable flying rules, along with proper enforcement is a better solution to the perceived problem. There has been a lot of media coverage that has yet to show a quadcopter was actually present, media talks about accidents happening, but to date, almost no accidents have occured. Perhaps we should take away the right to drive for all people due to a few drunk drivers? This seems a similar concept to what is being proposed. The vast majority of hobby RC flyers are safe and non obtrusive, RFID is a solution in search of a problem that does not exist.”
