“I am both a full scale (recreational) pilot and RC model pilot. I have thoroughly enjoyed both activities however expense and age have forced me to give up full scale flying. These new regulations may force me to give up RC model aviation as well. I enjoy the fun and socialization offered by flying with my RC club. I am willing to take flight tests, and restrict my flying to specific areas, but the plan to eliminate those areas through “attrition” as well as the mandate to register each and every one of my models along with the added expense of internet and remote ID could very well cause me to leave the hobby. This will have a negative effect on my enjoyment of my retirement years.”
