“I have been into model aviation both line control and remote control for more than 50 years. I was introduced to it by my father when I was a little boy in a field next the the house where we lived. With the FAA proposed restrictions that type of action will now be considered illegal. I have 2 young children who are very interested in flying with me and I am worried that I will not be able share with them the wonder and fun of being able to fly models due to the privacy and monetary concerns related to the FAA remote ID proposal. Scenario: My 5 year old owns a RC plane or quad then I would need to have my child register as the pilot of a remotely operated rc aircraft with the FAA before being able legally fly. Who is going to protect the privacy of my child? Why would anyone want to track the location on my 5 year old flying a park flier”
