“I’ve been in the remote control modeling hobby for over 35 years and now my children are of the age that I’d like to introduce them to the hobby. We look at this not only as a hobby, but a valuable learning experience for our children. In these days of computer games and online social networking, getting kids outside and interested in non-computer related activities is harder and harder. We’d love to teach our kids not only to fly, but to stretch their imaginations while designing and flying their own RC aircraft. This will not be possible under FAA’s Proposed Rule for “Remote Identification of Unmanned Aircraft Systems”. We beg you to reconsider for not only current hobbyist’s, but for future generations of potential hobbyist’s to come.”
