“Been flying model aircraft for over 60 years. I follow the safety guidelines of the AMA and have never had an accident. Crashes are not accidents, just part of the hobby. I fly all electric so there is no problem with noise but the 400 feet limit will kill the sport of using thermals to lift our sail planes and fly with the birds. If the FAA wants to control the commercial drones that’s ok with me but I fly for FUN so no restricting regulations are needed. Don’t punish the entire flying hobby because of a few idiots.”
