“I hold an FAA commercial pilot certificate and retired CFIAMEI. RC flying is my only hobby. If the NFPM is enacted as proposed it will render useless $3,000 plus rc aircraft and equipment useless with no resale value. I believe, as many others, that the proposed RID NPRM is for the sole purpose of eliminating rc flying to free airspace below 500 feet amsl for drone delivery by Amazone, UPS and others. Although I do not belong to any club or have an AMA membership I abide by AMA safety rules and never fly over people or property. RC flying is my life.”
