“In my opinion thee more rules and laws that are implemented the more it ruins the hobby. It will deter people from staying in the hobby and will restrict the community from growing because new people who want to enter the hobby find it too complicated to get going. The hobby won’t be as free to fly and enjoy as it currently is. For me the reason I started was the freedom of flying where I want(within legal limits) and flying however I want however far I can. I think that the hobby is also somewhat misunderstood in the sense that most people in the hobby are here to fly have fun and enjoy it not to harm anyone, the few people who do bad things are the ones who are giving the hobby a bad reputation which is why the FAA might be proposing such ideas to control the hobby”
