“I am 52 years old and have been flying legacy (line of sight) remote control fixed wing aircraft off and on since the 1980’s. This hobby is a big part of my life and provides a creative outlet as well as connection with others who also enjoy the hobby. I have shared this hobby with my children and hope to share it with my my future Grand children. I live in a remote area of the state of Georgia, I fly smaller planes on my 10 acre farm and I fly larger planes at a local RC Flying club. I only fly line of sight and never use a GPS or camera with my flying. I like to build my own planes and also build and fly Almost Ready to Fly planes. I fly planes from a 39″ wingspan to 105″ wing span. I feel that my type of flying should be exempt from any additional regulations and the area and type of flying I do does NOT propose any risk to air safety. The proposed regulations are over reaching, financially burdensome, and will end the hobby as we know it.”
