“Much like the original innovators of flight, I like to fly freely like the birds. Being restricted to a postage stamp to fly would be like putting all the birds in a cage, or requiring all non-commercial drivers to drive their cars only in parking lots. There is a BIG SKY out there, and we can all share it. Taking the airspace away and commercializing it so only paying corporations can play is an attack on our freedom. This proposal, the way it is currently written, has very little to do with actual security, and more to do with a resource and money grab, AKA commercialization, rather than sharing airspace with everyone. How about carving up commercial corridors rather than taking ALL the airspace away or limiting it to extremely small fields.”
