“I have been flying model aircraft for 65 years. I have flown in local and national contests I have over 100 aircraft in flying condition with some over 50 years old. I fly line of sight or short range FPV for racing. Model aircraft flying has taught me electronic skills, structural engineering and wide variety of construction skills. Flying and building model aircraft is something I do most every day. I am also a licensed full scale pilot and glider pilot since 1973. Our hobby of flying model aircraft poses no safety issue to full sized aircraft or the general public.”
