“I am 65 years old and flying model airplanes is the only recreation/fun thing I do any more . Most of what I do is line of sight flying model airplanes and flying small multirotors in my yard . I have maybe 50 model airplanes and that many again in kits I have not built yet . I have been doing this since I was about 8 years old . I have been talking to fellow modelers and even traveled around to other clubs to see what others think of the nprm . Many will quit and many will just not obey the rule . I my opinion line of sight should be left as it is with on FAA number on it and that is working . In quad copters I believe the one number FAA on it should be all you need also unless you have GPS and autonomy . I believe the Proposed rules by the FAA could destroy the hobby .
