“https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhBVRFKVGxU @ 02:20 Steve Wozniak expressing his wish of the culture surrounding ‘tech’; the idea of innovators …and those who seek rent. In my opinion, there are so many untapped avenues to explore if only the barrier to entry were so low And we as a society hold a higher standard. There are many ways to be reckless and one of the great things about this hobby is that the barrier to entry is real, the weak are weeded out or subsist doling out more money (which is great for a company like dji, where anybody flys) ’cause one a long enough time line, you’re gonna crash and while I’d rather be ‘lucky’ than ‘good’, one must always have safety to the public as a concern. The American experiment is the American dream, but quite literally immigrants from the old world could tame and resettle the vast plains of warring tribes. Watching that movie Hell or High Water makes me feel that the fpv community is the comanche of in fighting while… the telecomms are the great plains and this faa regulatory capture is the texas rangers working as gofors for spectrum prospectors like Amazon, Tesla, Facebook, whatever tech giants. Apologies for this long winded allegory, but I believe its apt. And regarding ‘privacy issues’, well I can’t imagine a time when I wouldn’t feel slightly confused without a cell phone, yet feeling confused all the time is paranoia. Attached is a link regarding how fearful I am about my data in so many words; people should get a tax credit for being so forthcoming ?‰.
