“I live in a small town in maine. There is a old shut down airport where all thr older 70ish year olds fly their planes. Its listed on google as a rc field but is not owned or run by anyone. Its not a frea field and will never be. I live in a area where there are pots of fields and other open places to fly. Well away from any type of immunization. This proposal will affect my hobby, as it is one of my coping skills for my autism. This is going to cause extreme anxiety and other issues that don’t need to be brought up when I’m enjoying doing what I’m doing. I always fly with a spotter, I do think that if you’re going to fly fpv you should also have a spotter, that has a screen but is also watching line of sight. so they can see what you see , and also keep an eye on the aircraft itself. 800′ radius around yourself is rediculiously restrictive. I honestly would find it extremely, extremely hard to obeid by that. I do believe you have to know your equipment you have to use good equipment and it has to be trusted. You’re also have to abide by your legal laws. All I have to say is it’s going to be extremely hard for people like me, that live in a place where they are not near a town. they are out in the boonies, and now you want to regulate something that is seriously no more than a bird flying in a field. If a tree falls in the woods, but you didn’t hear it fall, did that tree really fall?”
