“Flying has been a way to relax with something simple. It’s allowed me to bond with my step dad when we get together since we live in different states. It’s now becoming something that my two year old daughter enjoys. I go out to the park basin with my wife and daughter and fly/glide around making passes over the field so she can follow the plane around and watch it fly overhead. I can see this becoming a regular thing as our father daughter time, as she’s getting older and starts to do other things on her own. This can be a common interest that allows us to bond even as she becomes more independent. Flying is also something that allows me to get to know new friends. I invite them out to the field with some easy planes and let them fly around and get use to it while giving us time to bond as well.”
