“I’m a camera drone pilot, I don’t fly for monetary gain, I do it to record life and the world around me… for example, old buildings, bridges, and other landmarks… Cemeteries, churches, gathering places (when no-one is around)… I find I’m doing something fun and worth while recording our heritage to share with others of both our generation and future generations. I bring my equipment to schools and we go through the four forces of flight and also some of the math involved in weight/balance and navigation. The kids love it and I think they get a fun way to see the real-world application of what they’re learning in the classroom.”
