“I have been building and flying RC quadcopters for the past five years. It’s been an extremely rewarding experience for me, developing skills at building electronics, programming and piloting via FPV. It has introduced me to large and growing community of builders and hobbyists that is overwhelmingly comprised of conscientious and responsible people. As a result, one of my sons and I are beginning a business which offers agricultural aerial mapping. The new restrictions being imposed would strongly hinder my ability to enjoy this hobby and continue to progress my skills as a builder and pilot. I do not have access to designated fields and rely heavily on flying at safe locations near my home and at my local parks. I have developed a good relationship with local park rangers and have had zero issues flying safely and responsibly with fellow hobbyists.”
