“I fly acrobatic/racing multirotor aircrafts. For me it is a community that I have built hundreds of friendships through and it is a great way to relieve stress at a relatively cheap cost with no danger to myself or others. My biggest concern is that I no longer will be able to legally fly, because we rarely fly at a CBO field. I also feel that although some of the remote ID ideas are good, they are a little to all encompassing. Most racers are above 250g, but only slightly. Most racers weigh between 250g-350g, a slight increase in the minimum weight could easily exclude many of those that build multirotors. Most racers don’t even go over 100ft, a simple rule not allowing those who can’t use the remote ID to be limited to 100ft could also mitigate some of these woes.
