“I’ve been a member of AMA for over 30 years and seen a lot of innovations in model aircraft and equipment. All of it is in a way safety related. I for one only fly at designated AMA club fields, and have in many areas of the country. A ID (transponder) system would restrict model aircraft flying in many and some unknown ways. Also not authorizing new Model Aircraft (not drone) flying sites will have a big impact on the future RC enthusiast for years to come.”
