“I am 66 years old. I learned to fly R/C on the hillside with an old sloper I built. The cost and effort was minimal for me as a teenager at the time and I imagine that adding all this new restrictive requirements to learn to fly to someone starting out on their own is just going to be a dream killer. I can’t see it as necessary or even a good idea.”
